Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker, add washed and drained split moong dal, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste.
Add 4 cups of water and mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and cook on high heat for 2-3whistles.
Remove from heat and let the pressure release naturally.
Open the pressure cooker and mix well.
Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot dal soup.
