Preparation
Take whole wheat bread slices and dice them into small pieces.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add curry leaves and chopped green chili. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Stir in chopped green bell pepper, carrot and green peas. Cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
Toss in the bread pieces and mix gently to coat them with the spices and vegetables.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bread absorbs the flavors.
Squeeze lemon juice, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve warm.
