Green gram, whole
50 gms (50g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Tomato
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Cucumber
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Green Chilli
1 tsp (2g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 tbsp (10g)
lemon juice
1 tsp (5g)
Chaat Masala
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Roasted Cumin powder

Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Green chutney

Instructions
Preparation
1. Rinse the dal well under running water, add water & cover the bowl with a lid or plate and let the dal soak for 8-10 hours or overnight.
After soaking, drain the water from the dal using a strainer.
Take muslin cloth, tie the cloth tightly around the dal to form a bundle.
Place the dal bundle in a warm and dark place, such as a cabinet.
Rinse the dal with fresh water twice a day, making sure to drain out all the water each time.
After 2-3 days, you should see small sprout
Cooking Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the steamed sprouts, chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, green chili, and coriander leaves.
Add lemon juice, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add green chutney, to taste. Mix well.
Serve the moong sprouts chaat immediately.
