Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the broken wheat thoroughly and drain the water.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the broken wheat and roast it until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
In a pressure cooker, add the roasted broken wheat, water, tomatoes, green chili, green peas, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and cook on medium heat for 2-3 whistles or until the dalia is cooked and tender.
Let the pressure release naturally.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
