Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the rice in water and soak it for 30 minutes.
In a pressure cooker, add the soaked rice, chopped vegetables, minced garlic and ginger, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, cumin seeds, and salt.
Pour 2 cups of water into the pressure cooker and mix well.
Cover the pressure cooker with a lid and cook on medium heat for 2 whistles.
Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.
Once the pressure is released, open the pressure cooker and fluff the rice with a fork.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
