Instructions
Preparation
Wash the turai (Ridge Gourd) and cut it into small pieces.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add turai pieces and mix well, ensuring the turai is coated in the masala.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Stir well.
Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes over low heat until the turai is cooked through and tender.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
