Instructions
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add sliced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add chopped tomatoes, capsicum, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well.
Add paneer cubes and rice. Mix well, ensuring the rice and paneer are coated in the masala.
Add water and stir well. Cover the pressure cooker with a lid and cook for 2 whistles over medium heat.
Once the pressure is released, open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
