Instructions
Preparation
-Pressure cook masoor dal with 1 cup of water.
-Mash sweet potato.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled and mashed sweet potatoes, mashed masoor dal, chopped green chili, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder, and salt. Mix well.
Mix everything together and form a dough-like consistency.
Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into tikkis or patties.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the tikkis in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Once cooked, remove the tikkis from the pan and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve the Sweet Potato Masoor Dal Tikkis hot.
