Instructions
Cooking Steps
Wash all the vegetables under running water and pat them dry.
Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets and slice the carrots, bell peppers, onions, and zucchini.
Take a steamer basket and add water to the bottom pan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
Arrange the vegetables in the steamer basket, starting with the carrots at the bottom since they take longer to cook. Add the broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, onions, and zucchini on top.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top of the vegetables.
Add oil to the vegetables and toss them gently to coat them with the oil.
Cover the steamer basket with a lid and let the vegetables steam for 8-10 minutes until they are tender but still have a crunch.
Remove the steamer basket from the heat and transfer the vegetables to a large bowl.
Add lemon juice to the bowl and toss the vegetables gently to coat them with the lemon juice.
