Instructions
Preparation
Boil soya granules according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking Steps
In a bowl, combine boil soya granules with cumin powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the chunks with the spices.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned soya chunks and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they are heated through and slightly crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
Lay the wheat roti.
In the center of the roti, layer the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and chopped red onion.
Place the sautéed soya granules on top of the vegetables.
Drizzle with lemon juice for added flavour.
You can use green chutney as a dressing.
Fold in the sides of roti and then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
Slice the wrap in half diagonally, if desired, for easier handling.
