Ingredients
Singhare Atta (Water chestnut flour)
0.5 cup (100g)
Plain Water
1 medium cup (250g)
Ghee
1 tbsp (15g)
Chopped Walnuts
1 tsp (5g)
cardamom powder
0.5 tsp (1g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a non-stick pan, heat ghee over medium heat.
Add the water chestnut flour (singhare ka atta) to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it turns golden brown and fragrant.
In a separate pan, heat water.
Add roasted singhare ka atta. Mix well.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes until the halwa comes together and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Garnish with chopped walnuts.
Serve hot.
