Wheat, vermicelli
50 gms (50g)
Skimmed Milk
1 medium glass (250g)
cardamom powder
1 tsp (2g)
Brown sugar
1 tsp (5g)
Ghee
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee over medium heat.
Add wheat vermicelli and roast them until golden brown, stirring frequently.
Add milk to the pan and bring it to a boil.
Lower the heat and let the milk simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vermicelli are cooked and the milk has thickened.
Add sugar and cardamom powder and stir well until the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat and let the kheer cool down to room temperature.
Serve the kheer chilled or at room temperature.
