Instructions
Preparation
-Wash, cut potato into small cubes, sem (runner beans) into pieces
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add chopped garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add cubed potatoes, sem (runner beans), and green peas. Mix well, ensuring the vegetables are coated in the masala.
Cover the pan with a lid, and let it cook for 15-20 minutes over medium heat until the vegetables are cooked.
Add garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
