Sattu Flour
1 small bowl (100g)
Makhana
100 gm (100g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Tomato
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Green Chilli
2 tsp (4g)
Red chilli Powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp (5g)
Plain Water
0.5 small cup (100g)
Instructions
Preparation
-Dry roast makhana add in blender and make fine powder.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine makhana flour, sattu flour, chopped onion, tomato, and green chili.
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
Slowly add water and mix until you get a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat. Grease it with a little oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly using the back of the ladle.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
Flip the cheela and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side is also golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter to make more cheelas.
Serve hot.
