Preparation
-Cut fish into small pieces.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add the chopped tomato and green chili. Cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add water as needed to make a curry consistency.
Add the sardine fish pieces to the curry and cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat until the fish is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
