Salmon Fish Fillet
200 gm (200g)
Grits
1 cup (200g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Black Pepper
0.25 tsp (0.5g)
Olive Oil
0.5 tbsp (7.5g)
Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions
Preparation
In a pot bring water to boil ,add salt to the boiling water.
Gradually add the grits (corn flour) to the boiling water while whisking constantly to prevent clumping.
Reduce the heat to low and let the grits simmer. Stir frequently to avoid sticking.
Cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the grits are tender and creamy. Add more water if needed for a thinner consistency. set aside
Cooking Steps
Wash and cut fish into pieces.
Season the salmon pieces with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the pieces over and cook for another 5-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
Transfer the salmon pieces to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
Serve the salmon pieces with the grits, and chopped parsley.
