Ingredients
Rice, raw, milled

Beet root
0.25 small (25g)
Plain Water
1 medium cup (250g)
Instructions
Preparation
- wash, peel and chop beetroot.
Cooking Steps
Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
In a small saucepan, bring water to boil over medium heat.
Add the chopped beetroot and rice to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until the rice and beetroot are soft and tender.
Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature.
Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
If the consistency is too thick, add a little bit of water to thin it out.
Pour the porridge into a clean container and refrigerate or freeze for future use.
