Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a bowl, mix together the ragi flour, onion, tomato, capsicum, ginger, cumin seeds, and salt. Add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency.
Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the ragi flour to absorb the water and thicken.
Heat a non-stick pan or tawa on medium heat. Grease it lightly with oil or ghee.
Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to make a thin and round cheela.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until it turns golden brown. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
Remove from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
