Quinoa
1 tbsp (10g)
Plain Water
1 medium cup (250g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the quinoa thoroughly in cold water.
Soak quinoa for 30 mins.
In a small pot, add the rinsed quinoa and water.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let the quinoa simmer for about 15 minutes, or until it is soft and the water has been absorbed.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the quinoa cool for a few minutes.
Transfer the quinoa to a blender or food processor and blend it into a smooth puree.
If the puree is too thick, you can add some boiled water to thin it out to a consistency that is suitable for your baby.
Let the porridge cool to room temperature before serving.
