Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the quinoa in a fine-mesh strainer and drain well.
In a medium-sized pot, combine the rinsed quinoa, skimmed milk, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the quinoa is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Remove the pot from the heat and add honey.
Top the porridge with chopped nuts and fruits.
