Ingredients
Quinoa
0.5 cup (100g)
Urad Dal
0.25 small cup (25g)
Rice Flour
0.25 small cup (25g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Plain Water
1 small cup (200g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Preparation
Rinse quinoa and urad dal separately and soak them in water for 4-6 hours.
Drain the water from the soaked quinoa and urad dal and grind them in a blender to a smooth batter. Add water as needed to get the right consistency.
Add rice flour and salt to the batter and mix well.
Cover the batter and let it ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Cooking Steps
Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
Drizzle oil and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crisp.
Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot
