Instructions
Preparation
-Peel, wash and slice onions, keep aside.
Cooking Steps
Heat the oil in a kadai over medium heat.
Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
Add the thinly sliced onions to the pan. Stir well to coat the onions with the oil and spices.
Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt over the onions. Mix well.
Cook the onions on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Cook until the onions turn soft and golden brown. This may take about 15-20 minutes.
Once the onions are cooked to your liking off the flame.
Serve it.
