Instructions
Cooking Steps
Fill a medium-sized pot with water and bring it to a boil.
Crack each egg into a small bowl or ramekin.
Using a spoon, create a whirlpool in the boiling water.
Gently pour the egg whites into the whirlpool, one at a time, holding the bowl close to the surface of the water.
Cover the pot with a lid and turn off the heat. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the poached egg whites from the water, and place them on a paper towel to drain excess water.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
