Ingredients
Skimmed milk paneer (Homemade)
0.5 cup, crumbled (100g)
Grated Ginger
1 tsp (3g)
Black Pepper
0.5 tsp (1g)
Rock salt (sendha namak)
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 tbsp (10g)
Red chilli Powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Cumin Powder
0.5 tsp (1g)
Sabudana (Raw)
0.25 cup (50g)
Instructions
Preparation
Soak the Sabudana in water for 3-4 hours.
Drain the water and mash the Sabudana with a fork or a potato masher.
Add salt and water to the Sabudana and knead it into a smooth dough.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled paneer, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and rock salt. Mix well.
Take a small portion of the Sabudana dough and roll it into a small ball.
Flatten the ball with your fingers and make a small well in the center.
Add a teaspoon of the filling into the well and pinch the edges of the dough to seal the filling inside.
Repeat the process until all the dough and filling are used up.
Steam the momos for 10-12 minutes until they are cooked and translucent.
Serve hot.
