Split Masoor Dal (Raw)
50 gm (50g)
Spinach
1 cup, chopped (200g)
Chopped Onion
1 small cup (100g)
Chopped Tomato
1 cup (200g)
Chopped Green Chilli
1 tsp (2g)
Cumin seeds
1 tsp (5g)
Turmeric powder
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Coriander Powder
1 tsp (2g)
Cumin Powder
1 tsp (2g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp (5g)
Clove Garlic, Chopped
2 tsp (10g)
Sunflower oil
2 tsp (10g)

Instructions
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add chopped spinach and soaked masoor dal. Mix well.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add water and stir.
Cover the pressure cooker with a lid and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles over medium heat.
Let the pressure release naturally before opening the lid.
For the tadka, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
