Ingredients
Poppy seeds
10 gms (10g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 medium cup (80g)
Chopped Green Chilli
2.5 tsp (5g)
Mustard oil
1 tsp (5g)
Clove Garlic, Chopped
1 tsp (5g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Red chilli Powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
Soak poppy seeds in water for 30-40 mins.
Drain the water and grind the poppy seeds to a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped green chili and onion. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the onion are half-cooked.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add the poppy seed paste and mix well with the onion. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let it cook for 5-7 minutes until the gravy has thickened.
Serve hot.
