Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the quick oats, semolina, yogurt, water, ginger paste, green chili paste, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well to form a thick batter. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Add grated carrot and chopped coriander leaves to the batter. Mix well.
Heat a paniyaram pan or appe pan over medium heat. Add oil to each mould.
Pour spoonfuls of the batter into each mould, filling them about 3/4th full.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the appe using a spoon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side is also golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
Serve hot.
