Cooking Steps
Rinse the moong dal thoroughly in cold water and soak it in enough water for 30 minutes.
In a small pot, add the soaked moong dal and water.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let the moong dal simmer for about 30 minutes, or until it is soft and the water has been absorbed.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the moong dal cool for a few minutes.
Transfer the moong dal to a blender or food processor and blend it into a smooth puree or mash it with a fork.
