Kodo Millet (Raw)
1 small cup (100g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Tomato
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Cucumber
0.5 small cup (50g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp (5g)
Chaat Masala
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
lemon juice
1 tbsp (15g)
Common salt

Preparation
Boiling Kodo Millet:
In a pot, add water and bring it to a boil.
Add the washed kodo millet and salt to the boiling water.
Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the millet is cooked and the water is absorbed.
Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before fluffing it with a fork.
Cooking Steps
In a large mixing bowl, add cooked millet, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped cucumber, and chopped fresh coriander.
Add chaat masala and salt to the mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the mixing bowl. Mix well.
Serve the Millet Chaat immediately.
