Fenugreek leaves
200 gms (200g)
Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Asafoetida
1 pinch (2g)
Mustard oil

Instructions
Preparation
-Wash, clean and chop methi leaves.
Cooking Steps
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add the cumin seeds and hing and let them splutter
Add the chopped carrot and sauté for a few minutes.
Stir in the chopped fenugreek leaves (methi) and sauté for a couple more minutes.
Lower the heat and add the spices: turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well.
Cover the pan and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the carrot are tender and cooked through. It may take about 15-20 minutes.
