Split Masoor Dal (Raw)
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 medium cup (75g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Clove Garlic, Chopped
1 tsp (5g)
Chopped Green Chilli
2 tsp (4g)
Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Turmeric powder

Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker, add masoor dal and water. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is soft and mushy.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Saute until the onions are translucent.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add the cooked masoor dal to the pan and mash it with a spoon or potato masher.
Cook for a few minutes until the flavors blend together. Adjust the consistency by adding water if needed.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
