Preparation
Knead Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and water. Knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix crumbled paneer, chopped green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Ensure the filling is evenly mixed.
Cooking Steps
Divide the dough into small portions (about 50g each). Roll each portion into a ball.
Roll out one dough ball into a small disc (about 4-5 inches in diameter). Place 1-2 tablespoons of the paneer filling in the center. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and seal it tightly.
Gently roll out the stuffed ball into a flat circle (about 6-7 inches in diameter). Be careful not to tear the dough.
Heat a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, flipping carefully.
Lightly brush with 1/4 tsp of oil or ghee on each side for a golden finish. Alternatively, skip this step to keep it completely oil-free.
Repeat the process for the remaining dough and filling.
Serve hot.
