Cooking Steps
Boil milk in a heavy duty pot, once the milk starts boiling add lemon juice/vinegar and begin to stir.
Keep stirring the milk until it completely curdles. Once the milk has curdled completely, switch off the flame and then immediately pour the entire mixture in the strainer lined with the muslin cloth/cotton napkin.
Run some clean fresh water on the gathered muslin cloth/cotton napkin all over. Keep a heavy weight over it or you can even hang it for an hour. Some more whey will be strained.
After 30-40 mins the paneer will be set. Once warm or cooled cut homemade paneer into cubes or any shape.
You can also refrigerate and keep it in an airtight container with some quantity of water in the container for later use.
