Ingredients
Makhana
1 cup (100g)
Jaggery, cane
30 gms (30g)
Sesame Seeds
1 tsp (3g)
Ghee
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Preparation
-Roast Makhana till crisp.
-Roast sesame seeds for few mins.
Cooking Steps
In a pan, heat ghee and add jaggery.
Melt the jaggery on medium heat until it turns into a caramel sauce consistency.
Add the roasted makhanas to the pan and mix well to coat the makhanas with the jaggery sauce.
Switch off the flame and add roasted sesame seeds. Mix well.
Spread the mixture on a plate and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.
Once cooled down, break the makhanas into small pieces and store in an airtight container.
