Grilled Ayam Goreng
Grilled Ayam Goreng is a healthier version of the classic Indonesian dish. It is made by marinating chicken in a blend of aromatic spices and then grilling it until it is cooked through and golden brown. This recipe is dairy-free and is an excellent source of protein. However, people with a soy allergy should avoid this dish.

Chicken, poultry, thigh, skinless
250 gms (250g)
Lemon Grass
2 medium stalk (10g)
Tamarind Paste
1 tsp (5g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Black Pepper
0.5 tsp (1g)
Turmeric powder
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Coriander Powder
1 tsp (2g)
Cumin Powder
1 tsp (2g)
Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a large bowl, combine the lemongrass, tamarind paste, salt, black pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
Add the chicken pieces to the spice mixture and mix until the chicken is well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Brush the chicken pieces with vegetable oil.
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the Grilled Ayam Goreng hot.
