Cooking Steps
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, half of the ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
Add the chicken pieces, coat them well with the marinade, and let them marinate for about 20-30 minutes.
Cook the Gravy:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cardomom,cloves,bay leaf,black peppercorns and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and saute until they turn golden brown.
Add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
