-Finely chop garlic.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well.
Add the plain yogurt, warm water, and oil. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat a skillet or tawa over medium-high heat.
Divide the dough into equal parts.
Roll each part into a ball and flatten it with your palms.
Sprinkle chopped garlic and chopped cilantro leaves on top of the flattened dough.
Roll the dough into a circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Place the rolled dough on the preheated skillet or tawa.
Cook the naan for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until it is golden brown and puffy.
Serve hot.
