Garden cress seeds (Halim) Soaked
2 tbsp (30g)
Skimmed Milk
1.5 small cup (300g)
cardamom powder
1 tsp (2g)
Ghee
1 tsp (5g)
Honey
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Preparation
Soak the garden cress seeds in water for 15-20 minutes until they become soft.
Cooking Steps
In a pan, heat ghee over medium heat. Add the soaked garden cress seeds and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add skimmed milk and cardamom powder. Mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
Cook for 15-20 minutes until the kheer thickens and the garden cress seeds are cooked.
Add honey to taste and mix well.
Remove from heat and let it cool.
