Foxtail Millet (Raw)
1 small cup (100g)
Chopped Green Chilli
1 tsp (2g)
Cumin seeds
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common Salt

Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)

Instructions
Preparation
-Rinse the foxtail millet in water and soak for 1-2 hours.
Cooking Steps
In a pan, heat oil. Add, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until they start to splutter.
Add chopped green chili, and sauté.
Add turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the soaked foxtail millet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes over medium heat until the millet is cooked and the water is absorbed.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
