Chopped Green Chilli
1 tsp (2g)
Mustard seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Chana Dal (Raw)
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Split Urad Dal (Raw)
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common Salt
0.25 tsp (1.5g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)

Olive Oil

Instructions
Preparation
-Rinse the foxtail millet in water and soak for 1-2 hours.
Cooking Steps
In a pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until they start to splutter.
Add chopped onions, green chili, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
Add turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the soaked foxtail millet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes over medium heat until the millet is cooked and the water is absorbed.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
