Instructions
Cooking Steps
Clean and wash the fish fillet. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
In a pressure cooker, add the fish fillet, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Add enough water to cover the fish.
Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles or until the fish is cooked through and tender. Allow the pressure to release naturally.
Drain any excess water and transfer the fish mixture to a mixing bowl.
Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the fish mixture until it is smooth and all the ingredients are well combined.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Divide the mixture into equal-sized portions and shape them into flat round patties.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and place the patties on the pan. Cook on medium heat until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot.
