Red Onion

Preparation
Soaked the chickpea overnight.
Cooking Steps
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Drain the soaked chickpeas and rinse them well.
In a food processor, add the chickpeas, onion, garlic, green chili, fresh parsley, fresh cilantro leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Pulse the mixture until it is coarse and crumbly.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and brush it with oil.
Place the falafel balls or patties on the baking tray and brush them with a little more oil.
Bake the falafel in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown on both sides.
Serve the baked falafel.
