Step 1: To make Senai Pachadi, first peel and cut the yam into small pieces

Step 2: Now in a pressure cooker add water, yam as per use and cook till 3 cities come

Step 3: With the pressure coming out automatically, take out the yam separately

Step 4: Also keep the remaining water separately

Step 5: Now add green coriander, green chillies, ginger and yam in a mixer grinder

Step 6: Grind

Step 7: Now heat oil in a tempering pan

Step 8: Add the ingredients given for tempering and cook it for 30 seconds

Step 9: In a bowl, add yam mixture, curd and remaining water and mix

Step 10: Add tempering to it and mix once more

Step 11: Serve

Step 12: Serve senai pachdi with mixed vegetable sambar, beetroot thoran and rice for dinner
