Instructions
Preparation
- Peel, cut drumstick into small sticks.
-Soak mustard seeds and add in a blender a make fine paste.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, mustard paste and salt. Stir well.
Add drumstick pieces and mix well, ensuring they are coated in the masala.
Add water and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes until the drumsticks are cooked and tender.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
