Preparation
Prepare the Prawn Filling:
Coarsely chop the prawns into small pieces using a knife or crush them a few times in a food processor.
In a bowl, mix garlic-ginger paste, chopped onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
Add the chopped prawns to the mixture and mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
Cooking Steps
Assemble the Rolls:
Lay a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface and place 2 tablespoons of the prawn filling on the wrapper, leaving some space at the edges.
Roll the corner and tuck in the sides and continue rolling tightly to the opposite corner
Now seal the edges with the maida paste. Repeat the process for all the rolls.
Roast the Prawn Rolls:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) for roasting and brush a baking sheet with some vegetable oil
Place the rolls on the baking sheet for roasting.
Lightly brush the top of each cutlet with some vegetable oil to get a nice golden crust.
Roast the prawn rolls in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are firm and light
