Water Chestnut
100 gms (100g)
Soya chunks (Nutrela)
50 gm (50g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Green Bell pepper
0.25 cup, chopped (50g)
Red Bell Pepper
0.25 cup, chopped (50g)
Instructions
Preparation
-Soak soya chunks in warm water for few mins, drain and squeeze out water. Set aside.
-Peel and slice water chestnuts.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add soaked soya chunks to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
Add sliced bell peppers to the wok. Continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
Add sliced water chestnuts to the wok and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they are slightly browned.
In a small bowl, whisk together turmeric, salt, and pepper. Add this mixture to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and the vegetables are coated.
Serve hot.
