Black Chickpeas (desi chana)

Common salt

Instructions
Cooking Steps
Soak the black chana overnight or for at least 8 hours.
Drain the water and rinse the chana well.
Transfer the chana to a pressure cooker and add enough water to cover the chana.
Add salt and pressure cook for 15-20 minutes or until the chana is soft and cooked through.
Drain the water and transfer the chana to a mixing bowl.
Add cumin powder, red chili powder, and chaat masala to the chana. Mix well.
Garnish with chopped onions and cilantro.
Serve hot.
