Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, chopped onions, cabbage, green peas, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring continuously, until a smooth batter is formed. The batter should be thick and not runny.
Heat an appe pan (a special pan used to make appe) over medium heat. Add a few drops of oil in each cavity of the pan.
Using a spoon, fill each cavity of the pan with the batter.
Cover the pan with a lid and let the appe cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat until the bottom turns golden brown.
Using a toothpick or skewer, flip each appe over and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side also turns golden brown.
Repeat the process until all the batter is used up.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
