Preparation
-Wash, peel and chop beetroots.
-Coarsely crushed mustard seeds
Cooking Steps
1, In a large glass or ceramic jar, add chopped beets, crushed mustard seeds, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder.
Pour 1 liters of water into the jar and mix well.
Cover the jar with a lid or cloth and keep it in a warm place for 3-4 days.
After 3-4 days, the kanji will be ready to drink. Strain the liquid and discard the beets and mustard seeds.
Store the kanji in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
