Ingredients
Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup (200g)
Banana
2 cup, sliced (500g)
Unsweetened Applesauce
4 tbsp (60g)
Brown sugar
50 gms (50g)
Baking Soda
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Baking powder
0.5 tsp (2.5g)

Instructions
Preparation
For Banana:
Mash the sliced banana.
For Unsweetened Applesauce:
In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, water, and lemon juice.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low & simmer the apples for 20-25 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool.
Use a hand blender or food processor to puree the mixture until smooth & use.
Cooking Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch (23 cm) loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, oil, unsweetened applesauce and brown sugar. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Add water to the batter and mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan of standard size and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
